  • Volltilgerdarlehen

    Glossary: German mortgage terms explained

    Back to glossary

A Volltilgerdarlehen is a property loan whose Zinsbindung is as long as its term, so that it is fully repaid when the Zinsbindung ends.

There is no Restschuld and no Anschlussfinanzierung. In return the fixed period is long, the rate is often somewhat higher, and the payment must be set high enough.
