The Maklerprovision is an estate agent’s fee; when consumers buy a flat or single-family home, since December 2020 at most half of it may fall on the buyer.
If seller and buyer jointly engage the agent, they must bear the commission in equal shares. The amount is not set by law but is regionally customary.
